Europe's goalscoring race in 2025/26

The 2025/26 season confirms Harry Kane as the most lethal striker on the continent. The England forward at Bayern Munichhas 33 Bundesliga goals, extending a run that already earned him the Golden Shoe in 2023/24 and cementing him as the German league's leading marksman.

Behind him, the duel between Kylian Mbappé (Real Madrid) and Erling Haaland (Manchester City), level on 24 goals, keeps the fight for second place on the continent alive. The big surprise is Thiago of Brentford, whose 22 goals break him into the elite and prove that scoring is no longer the preserve of the giant clubs.

The ranking reflects Europe's goalscoring spread: La Liga contributes Mbappé, Muriqi and Yamal; the Bundesliga Kane, Undav and Schick; the Premier League Haaland and Thiago; and Serie A Lautaro Martínez. To crown the single top scorer of the continent, the European Golden Boot comes into play, weighting goals by the difficulty of each league.
